After a few weeks of rest during the summer, the team returned to compete at the highest level at Franciacorta in the first major event of September. On a very technical and hard circuit to face for our drivers our team was represented in OK Junior by Louis Castellini, Theo Salomao, and Matus Ryba and in OK by Ean Eyckmans.
Eyckmans drove at more than satisfying levels all weekend, showing an excellent pace and growing session after session. After lots of laps in the bag driven during a very intense free practice Ean showed immediately a good feeling with his CL, catching a top 10 in his qualifying group, the Belgian made great progress during the heats as well, starting immediately with two top 10 finishes in the first two heats and completing his job even with a top 5 finish in the third, a clear sign of how his feeling with the package has increased enough to allow him to express himself at excellent levels even in such crucial phases of the weekend. On Sunday Ean put together an extremely solid final race, managing to recover two positions and crossing the line with a remarkable P14.
Our OKJ drivers turned out to be a bit more unfortunate instead, but that didn’t stop the entire team from collecting valuable data to develop the package in the weeks ahead. Ryba, Castellini, and Salomao (at his first race ever with us) had a difficult weekend, spent mostly in the middle of the pack, but collecting a lot of laps which of course will be extremely useful for them in order to improve and to be able to compete as soon as possible with the top drivers.

Each member of the team did his best and, even if we weren’t rewarded enough in this race, we will certainly be able to be extremely competitive in the next rounds of the season”.
